Can I choose my own short code SMS number?

There are two kinds of short codes, shared and dedicated.

If you would like to have your own dedicated short code number, then yes you can choose your own short code SMS number within the limitations of what numbers are actually available from the networks. As dedicated short codes can be quite expensive, TextAnywhere also runs a number of shared short code numbers. These are numbers shared by our clients, with the first word of the message (known as the keyword) determining to which client the message is forwarded.
