How often should I send out messages to my customers?

In all honesty this is a difficult question to answer as every organisation is different. It is however important to be aware that you are sending messages directly to individual’s mobile phones and therefore it is important not to bombard them with messages.

If you are using SMS to update people on progress of a project or updates on news or info then it could require daily messages dependant on the importance of that information to the end user. If you are simply sending marketing messages to individuals to inform them of a deal or offer then occasional punchy messages can be a better option.

It is a careful decision to be made as you do not want your contacts to get fed up and opt out straight way as once they are gone they are hard to get back, if at all.
