What is the SOAP toolkit?

At TextAnywhere we provide a service that allows you to programmatically communicate with our SMS gateways. TextAnywhere’s Developer Toolkit provides developers with the ability to integrate an automated text-messaging capability in to existing applications and websites, and to build new applications that incorporate text-messaging functionality.

Our Developer Toolkit supports three different APIs for integrating the sending and receiving of text messages within your application: 

• Web Service, using SOAP
• HTTPS Service
• SMTP Service

If your preferred API is the Web Service then you will need to download the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) toolkit.
