How many message credits does it take to send, for example, 250 messages?
To send 250 messages of up to 160 characters using the standard GSM character set to UK mobiles would take 250 credits.
A message credit equates to one message of up to 160 characters for most destinations however to some countries it may take slightly more than one credit.
TextAnywhere systems do support concatenated messaging (long messages). If you need to send a message of more than 160 characters you can send up to 6 parts (6 message credits) which will be displayed as one message on the mobile. Please note that if you send a concatenated message 7 characters from each message is reserved to let the phone know in which order to join up the parts, so the effective number of characters per part is reduced to 153 giving a maximum message length of 918 characters.
