Can I send MMS messages through TextAnywhere?

Unfortunately you can’t directly send MMS messages from within our applications.

However, a more popular, and less expensive, way of sending MMS messages is to not actually send out the MMS message content itself, but to send out an SMS message with a link to the MMS content within the SMS message body.

This approach ensures you haven’t got the traditional technical challenges of sending MMS messages, and you haven’t got the significantly higher cost of sending an MMS versus an SMS.

It’s easy to send a link to your content from within an SMS message, particularly as you can use Tiny URLs, as you do with Twitter, to minimise the space taken-up with the content’s URL.
